Hridaya Northwest Silent Meditation Retreats
“In the heart, love and wisdom become one.”
— Sahajananda
Welcome!
If you are yearning to go beyond your everyday reality, to quiet your mind and connect to the deepest part of yourself, join us for a Silent Meditation Retreat. A retreat isn't about a technique or bit of knowledge. A Silent Retreat is a chance to open toward the part of you that is beyond all limitations.
What is a Silent Retreat?
A Hridaya silent meditation retreat is an invitation to discover the joy of being quiet. To remove yourself from everyday distractions, peel away layers of the ego, and find the peace within. If you are yearning to go beyond your everyday reality, to quiet your mind and connect to the deepest part of yourself, join us for a silent meditation retreat.
We design our retreats to guide you to an intimate understanding of what meditation is so you can experience the inner transformation it kindles.

Grief To Action 4-Day Silent Retreat
Listening, Collective Grief and Liberation Practice

Mohave Desert, CAThere are many ways to witness and process the oppression and violence that is racism in America, historical and current. Silence is often considered the most liberatory practice. Anti-Racism and Colonization Statement
At Hridaya Northwest, we acknowledge that racism and its real-world impacts effect each of us living in colonized culture. Our retreats and spiritual practices include examining these impacts in our inner world and our outer actions.
Undoing oppression and white supremacy culture is a priority in our organization. We acknowledge that spiritual teachings throughout the last century have continued to provide more access for white, educated, financially affluent people. We are committed to providing accessibility to receiving quality, holistic spiritual teachings for People of the Global Majority, BIPOC and People of Color through the teachings and scholarships to our retreats, which are already offered at significantly less than other meditation retreats in the US.
We are also honored to partner with Grief to Action, Holistic Resistance and the Chronically UnderTouched Project for an annual silent retreat. Information can be found on each retreat page.
